Most of our Scottsdale apartment work sits in two places: the buildings around Old Town and the older complexes through South Scottsdale off Miller, Hayden and McDowell. They are very different jobs. Old Town is usually a controlled building — a reserved elevator, a loading door that has to be booked, and a management office that wants a certificate of insurance before a crew sets foot inside. South Scottsdale is more often a second- or third-floor walk-up with an exterior stair and a parking spot forty yards from the door.
Either way, the two things that decide how long it takes are the floor and the carry. Tell us which floor the unit is on, whether there is a working elevator, and roughly where a truck can sit, and we will bring the right crew size and a price that holds. We can send a COI ahead of time if the property needs one on file.
A lot of this is property-manager work — turnovers where a tenant left furniture, a mattress and half a storage locker behind, and the unit has to be re-listed this week. We can clear an abandoned unit and have it swept the same day so the make-ready trades can start. For an owner-occupied condo that is being sold or downsized, see Scottsdale home cleanouts or estate cleanouts.
A third-floor South Scottsdale walk-up with a sectional in it needs more hands, not more time. We size the crew from your photos so the price does not move on the day.
Loading doors and COIs
Old Town buildings often want the loading door reserved and insurance on file. Tell us the building and we will handle that paperwork before the truck arrives.
Turnovers that cannot wait
Abandoned furniture cleared and the unit swept the same day, so make-ready and re-listing are not held up by a truck that never showed.

Proof of actual work
Recent Haulo work nearby in Scottsdale.
Haulo has not documented an apartment cleanout in Scottsdale yet. These are the same crew and trailer on other Scottsdale jobs, actual before and after frames.
Broke down and carried out a full bedroom set from a Scottsdale home — bed frame, headboard and rails, mattress panel, nightstand and a tall chest of drawers — and left the room empty to the hardwood.
Picked up two mattresses, a stack of moving boxes, a child car seat and bedding from a Scottsdale garage bay and hauled them away, leaving the bay clear to the floor mats. The flag, life jackets, water jugs and e-bike along the wall stayed.

Apartment cleanouts in Scottsdale: the monthly brush and bulk pickup or Haulo?
The City of Scottsdale runs a monthly brush and bulk collection for residents on city collection. Piles go out no sooner than three days before the Monday of your area’s week, no larger than 10 ft long, 6 ft wide and 4 ft tall, with brush and bulk in two separate piles and limbs no longer than 6 ft and under 12 in across.
Scottsdale’s program is for residential customers on city trash service with a pile at the curb, 10 ft × 6 ft × 4 ft; brush and bulk in separate piles; many apartment and condo communities are on private dumpster service instead, and nothing upstairs qualifies. Haulo works the elevator, the stairs and the loading rules, and clears the unit in one visit, with no waiting for up to a month.
Haulo is in Scottsdale every day, with same-day service for texts before 7 p.m., every neighborhood included, with no waiting for up to a month.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
How much does an apartment cleanout cost in Scottsdale?
The contents, load size, stairs or elevator access, and distance to loading affect the estimate. Share those details and the included areas so we can price the actual cleanout.
How soon can Haulo get to Scottsdale?
Same-day appointments are available in Scottsdale. Call or text to confirm the current schedule, route, and truck capacity for your pickup.
Do I have to drag everything to the curb first?
Never. Leave it exactly where it sits — garage, attic, back bedroom, side yard. Our Scottsdale crew does all the carrying and loading, then sweeps up before we head out.
What happens to my stuff after apartment cleanouts in Scottsdale?
Item handling depends on the load, item condition, and the options available at pickup time. Ask us about handling options for reusable, recyclable, electronic, or specialty items when you book.
Can I use Scottsdale bulk trash instead of Haulo for apartment cleanouts?
Yes, when it fits the rules: monthly, by area; out no sooner than three days before your Monday, 10 ft × 6 ft × 4 ft; brush and bulk in separate piles, and nothing on the refused list (dirt, rock, sod, concrete, construction debris, auto parts and hazardous waste). If it can wait for up to a month and you can get it to the curb, the city is the cheaper choice and we will say so. Haulo is for what does not fit: items still inside, more than 10 ft × 6 ft × 4 ft; brush and bulk in separate piles, refused materials, or a date that cannot wait for up to a month.
What does Scottsdale bulk trash refuse that Haulo will take?
Scottsdale refuses dirt, rock, sod, concrete, construction debris, auto parts and hazardous waste. Of those, Haulo takes dirt, rock, sod, concrete and construction debris, along with apartment and condo loads and oversized single items. Hazardous waste stays off our trailer as well; the what-we-cannot-take guide lists the drop-off programs.
