Out on the bigger desert lots north of the 101, the longer carry to where a truck can actually park matters more than the pile does — a photo of the route from the gate is worth more to us than a photo of the pile.
Haulo Junk Removal is two brothers based in Mesa who still run the crews, and Scottsdale has been on the route since our first year, so we know the buildings, the gates and the alleys that make a pickup take twice as long if nobody plans for them.
That matters more here than in most of the Phoenix Metro, because Scottsdale is really several different jobs. A condo or apartment pickup around Old Town or South Scottsdale usually means an elevator or a flight of stairs, shared parking and a building that wants notice before a truck sits at the loading door. Around McCormick Ranch and Gainey Ranch it is more often a garage that has filled up over fifteen years, or patio furniture and a spa that need to come out through a side gate. North Scottsdale — Grayhawk, DC Ranch, Troon North — brings the bigger scopes: three-car garages, estate cleanouts in Scottsdale, hot tubs on raised decks, and long carries from the back of a lot to where the truck can actually park.
The process is the same either way. Text photos of the pile and the path out to it, and we’ll confirm what it costs before anything is loaded. We take everything except toxic chemicals and hazardous material — if you are unsure about an item, send a picture of it and we’ll tell you. You pay when the job is done, and usable furniture gets donated whenever we can place it.

Brush and bulk runs monthly for residents on city collection, by area. Piles go out no sooner than three days before the Monday of your area’s week, no larger than 10′ long × 6′ wide × 4′ tall, and brush and bulk have to be kept in two separate piles. Limbs no longer than 6′ and under 12″ across.
Dirt, rock, sod, concrete, construction debris, auto parts and hazardous waste are all refused.
Monthly is the most generous schedule in the East Valley, so for a curbside pile of household bulk the city is usually the right call. It stops working when the material is refused, when the pile is bigger than that box, or when it is behind a gate rather than out at the street.

A spa almost always comes apart on site and goes out through the side gate, so we need the width of that gate, whether the power is still connected, and whether water is still in it. See hot tub removal and yard debris removal.

Broke down and carried out a full bedroom set from a Scottsdale home — bed frame, headboard and rails, mattress panel, nightstand and a tall chest of drawers — and left the room empty to the hardwood.

Picked up two mattresses, a stack of moving boxes, a child car seat and bedding from a Scottsdale garage bay and hauled them away, leaving the bay clear to the floor mats. The flag, life jackets, water jugs and e-bike along the wall stayed.

We price by volume — how much room the load takes up in the truck — plus labor for stairs, long carries and anything that has to come apart first. Heavy material like tile, concrete, dirt and landscape rock also prices on weight.
You get the actual number before we start, not after. Text photos of what needs to go and the path out to it, and the price we quote is the price you pay as long as the load matches the photos. You pay once the job is finished.
