Concrete removal service

Concrete Removal & Hauling

Serving Mesa, the East Valley and the Phoenix metro with upfront pricing.

Broken-up slab, block, brick, and pavers piled after a project and going nowhere? Send photos of the pile. Haulo loads and hauls it, and plans the loads around the weight rather than guessing from the size.

,

Haulo Junk Removal hauls concrete that is already broken up and out of the ground: the pieces left after a patio, walkway, driveway section, or slab has been taken up, along with block, brick, and pavers from a wall or planter that has come down. Send wide photos of the whole pile and the route to where a truck can park, and you get a free estimate before anything is lifted.

Concrete is dense, so a pile that looks modest can weigh far more than a truckload of ordinary junk. That changes two things. The price follows the weight of the material as much as the space it takes up, and a larger pile may need to go in more than one load. We plan that with you before the crew arrives, so the number of trips and the total price are agreed up front rather than discovered on the day.

This page is for material that is loose and ready to load. Breaking up an intact slab, saw-cutting, or pulling out footings is not part of this service; if what you have is still in place, light demolition explains what can be reviewed for dismantling and what needs another provider.

Why Haulo

Why concrete is handled differently.

Priced by weight, not just pile size

Dense material is quoted on what it actually weighs to move and haul. A small pile of concrete can price like a large pile of household junk, and we say so before you book.

Loads planned in advance

When a pile needs more than one trip, the number of loads and the total price are agreed before the crew arrives. No surprise second charge.

Photos first, then a firm price

Wide shots of the pile and the parking route are enough to confirm the price for the agreed material. If the pile matches the photos, that is the price.

How a concrete pickup works.

  1. 01

    Send photos of the pile

Wide shots showing the whole pile, a close-up of the largest pieces, and the path from the pile to where a truck can park.

  2. 02

We confirm the loads and the price

You get a free estimate for the agreed material, including how many loads it will take if it is more than one.

  3. 03

    The crew loads and hauls

Our crew does the lifting and loading. Leave the pile where it is; carrying it to the curb first is not needed.

  4. 04

    Cleared, then paid

The area where the pile sat is swept of loose pieces. Payment follows the completed work under the agreed terms.

What affects the price of concrete removal.

There are no flat rates on this page because concrete prices on weight and handling, not a visible volume. These are the factors the estimate is built from:

  • How much concrete there is, by weight as much as by pile size
  • Whether it is piled where a truck can get close, or spread out
  • Carry distance, gates, steps, and anything the crew must walk it past
  • Whether more than one load is needed for the agreed material
  • Other debris mixed in that has to be sorted or loaded separately
  • Any agreed extra work, such as raking a bed clean after the pile is gone

Text photos to (480) 299-4648 and the estimate comes back with the load count and the price for the agreed material. See how Haulo pricing works for the general approach.

Concrete removal questions.

Can you break up my slab or patio first?
Not as part of this service. Concrete removal covers material that is already broken up and loose. If the slab is still in place, send photos anyway; light demolition may be able to review it, or we will tell you plainly that it needs another provider.
How is concrete removal priced?
By the weight of the material and the work to load it, not just the size of the pile. Send photos of the whole pile; the estimate confirms the price for the agreed material, including whether it needs more than one load.
Will it take more than one load?
Sometimes. Concrete is heavy enough that a pile can exceed what one load should carry. When that is the case we say so in the estimate, with the number of loads and the total price agreed before the crew arrives.
Does it matter if there is rebar or wire mesh in the pieces?
Show it in the photos. Pieces with rebar or mesh attached can usually be loaded; long protruding bars may need to be cut down or bent first, which we will point out when confirming the job.
Do I need to pile it in one place?
It helps. Material that is piled near where a truck can park loads faster than pieces scattered across a yard, and the estimate reflects the loading work involved. If it cannot be moved, photograph where it sits and we will plan around it.
Can you take dirt or rock that came out with the concrete?
Yes, when it is in the photos. Mixed piles are common after a patio project. Dirt and rock are quoted alongside the concrete; see dirt removal and rock removal for what those involve.
