Furniture removal

Furniture Removal Services

Serving Mesa, the East Valley and the Phoenix metro with upfront pricing.

One couch or a whole house of furniture, carried out from wherever it sits — upstairs, the back bedroom, the patio — and hauled away. Insured crew, our own people, price confirmed from photos before we lift anything.

Furniture is the thing people most often cannot deal with alone: too heavy for one person, too big for the bin, and the donation truck will not take it with a stain. Haulo brings straps and a dolly, carries each piece out through whatever doorway or stairwell it has to pass, and loads it. You do not need to move it outside first.

We do this across Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix, with same-day service every day.

What this service handles

Household, office and patio furniture from homes, apartments, garages, offices and cleanouts.

  • Couches, sofas, sectionals, sleepers and recliners
  • Mattresses, box springs and bed frames
  • Dressers, wardrobes, nightstands and armoires
  • Dining tables, chairs and hutches
  • Desks, office chairs, bookcases and filing cabinets
  • Entertainment centers and TV stands
  • Patio sets, outdoor sofas and umbrellas
  • Whole rooms or whole houses of furniture in one trip

What we cannot take, and what we assess first

Two different lists. The first is a hard no; the second just needs a photo and a sentence before we confirm.

We cannot take

  • Solvents, thinners, stains and other flammable liquids
  • Gasoline, motor oil, antifreeze and other automotive fluids
  • Propane tanks and other gas cylinders

We assess first

  • Paint — we can usually take it, but send a photo of the cans first
  • Pianos, gun safes and other very heavy single pieces — a photo lets us plan the carry
  • Furniture with bed bugs or heavy pest damage — tell us; it can go, but it is loaded separately
  • Built-in units still fastened to the wall — that is light demolition
  • Third-floor walk-ups and elevator buildings — a photo of the stairwell helps

What furniture removal costs

Furniture is priced on the trailer space it takes plus the labor to get it there, confirmed from photos before loading. What moves the number:

  • How many pieces and how bulky they are
  • Stairs, elevators, tight halls and long carries
  • Whether anything needs taking apart to fit out
  • Whether other junk is going on the same trip
  • Very heavy single pieces like pianos or safes

Typical range: $175–$300 for a bedroom or living room of furniture; a single couch or mattress is usually $99–$175. Have a budget? Say so — we would rather work with it than lose the job. One couch is one of the smallest jobs we do; a room of furniture with the boxes from the closet is not much more. Typical ranges for common jobs are on the pricing page; they are planning examples, not quotes.

How furniture removal works

  1. 01

    Send photos and access details

Text a photo of each piece and the path out — stairs, gate, where a truck can park.

  2. 02

We confirm the scope, the price and an arrival window

We reply with a price and a same-day or next-available window.

  3. 03

The crew removes the agreed items and cleans up

The crew carries the furniture out, loads it, sweeps up and takes payment when you have looked it over.

What happens to the furniture

Usable furniture and household goods go to a donation drop-off on the route — Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore or St. Vincent de Paul, whichever is convenient and accepting that day. Metal goes to a scrap recycler. Everything else goes to a licensed transfer station or landfill. Haulo does not publish a diversion percentage.

Proof of actual work

Furniture carried out in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler and Scottsdale.

A sectional out of a Mesa bedroom, an entertainment center out of a Tempe alcove, a bed set and drawer towers out of a Chandler garage, and a full bedroom set out of a Scottsdale home. Actual before and after frames from each job.

Furniture removal questions

Do I need to get it outside first?
No. We carry it from where it is, including upstairs and out of apartments.
Can you take just one piece?
Yes. One couch or one mattress is a normal job; adding anything else on the same trip is usually cheaper than a second visit.
Will you take furniture with pet damage or stains?
Yes. Condition only affects whether it can be donated, not whether we take it.
Can you take it apart to get it out?
Yes. Sleeper sofas, sectionals and bed frames often come apart at the door.
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to give access and confirm what goes. If it is on a patio or in a garage and the scope is confirmed by text, we can often work without you there.
Can you come today?
Text before 7 p.m. and same-day is usually available — a crew is dispatched within the hour; after 7 p.m. we book you for the next day. Send photos and we confirm the window.

Still not sure about something? Text a photo to (480) 299-4648 and we’ll tell you.
