Boxes, old furniture, tires, broken tools and the bins nobody has opened in years — carried out of Phoenix garages, loaded and swept up in one visit. You point, we haul. Price confirmed from photos before we start.
A garage fills up one "deal with it later" at a time until the car lives in the driveway. Haulo clears it in a single visit: you tell us what stays, the crew carries everything else to the trailer, and the floor gets swept before we leave. You do not have to sort it, bag it or move it outside first.
Same-day service runs across Phoenix every day: Ahwatukee and Arcadia are closest to home, then Biltmore, Midtown, North Central and up to Desert Ridge. Alley access is common in the older neighborhoods, so tell us where a trailer can actually park.
Phoenix garage cleanout covers Ahwatukee, Arcadia, Biltmore, Downtown Phoenix, Midtown, North Central, Paradise Valley Village and Desert Ridge, plus the rest of Phoenix. Not sure about your street? Text the address and we confirm.
What this service handles
Everything typically stored in a residential garage, whether you want one corner cleared or the whole space emptied.
Solvents, thinners, stains and other flammable liquids
Gasoline, motor oil, antifreeze and other automotive fluids
Propane tanks and other gas cylinders
Pool chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers and unknown liquids
We assess first
Car batteries, small electronics and e-waste — a photo tells us whether they can ride along
Heavy piles of concrete, block, rock or dirt — priced by weight
Anything you are not sure is trash — put it in a separate pile and we leave it
What garage cleanout costs in Phoenix
Haulo prices from your photos and confirms the price before anything is loaded. Typical range: $275–$450 for a full single garage (about a half load); a corner is less, a packed double garage can run to a full load at about $599. Have a budget? Say so — we would rather work with it than lose the job. What moves the number:
Prices checked 11 Sep 2026.
How much is going — a corner, half the garage or all of it
Bulky pieces that take trailer space: furniture, mattresses, appliances
Heavy material mixed in (tile, concrete, dirt) — priced by weight
Carry distance from the garage to where the trailer can park
Worth knowing before you call anyone: Phoenix gives residential customers four bulk trash pickups a year, by appointment, one pile up to 10 cubic yards within 5 feet of the curb, and does not take hazardous waste, tires, appliances with refrigerant, construction material or concrete (phoenix.gov, checked 8 Sep 2026). Haulo is a private hauler, not the city program; the trade-off is cost against timing, access and what is accepted. More typical ranges are on the pricing page.
How garage cleanout works in Phoenix
01
Send photos and access details
Text a wide photo of the garage and a close-up of each crowded area. Tell us what stays.
02
We confirm the scope, the price and an arrival window
We reply with a price and a window. If something needs a second look, we ask before the visit.
03
The crew removes the agreed items and cleans up
The crew carries everything agreed to the trailer, sweeps the floor and takes payment when you have looked it over.
Usable furniture and household goods go to a donation drop-off on the route — Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity ReStore or St. Vincent de Paul, whichever is convenient and accepting that day. Metal goes to a scrap recycler. Everything else goes to a licensed transfer station or landfill. What can be donated depends on condition, and Haulo does not publish a diversion percentage.

Garage cleanouts in Phoenix: the four-a-year bulk appointments or Haulo?
A full garage rarely fits the city limit of up to 10 cubic yards within 5 ft of the curb, and every box, shelf and tire has to be carried to the curb by you before the city date (four appointments a year; out by 5:30 a.m. on the date). Haulo empties the garage from the inside, loads it in one visit and sweeps the slab, priced from your photos before anything moves and with no wait for the next appointment, which can be weeks out.
Haulo is in Phoenix every day, with same-day service for texts before 7 p.m., Ahwatukee and Arcadia are closest to home, then Biltmore, Midtown, North Central and up to Desert Ridge included, with no waiting for the next appointment, which can be weeks out.
Phoenix pile limit

Phoenix timing

Not accepted by Phoenix
Household hazardous waste, tires, glass, appliances with refrigerant, construction material, concrete and trunks over 4 feet.

Garage Cleanouts questions from Phoenix
Do I have to sort or bag anything first?
No. Point out what stays and we handle the rest. If you want to pull keepsakes out first, do that; everything left in the agreed area goes.
Can you clear just one section of the garage?
Yes. Mark the section or the pieces in your photos and say what stays. The price covers only what is marked for removal.
What about paint cans, chemicals and propane?
Paint we can usually take — send a photo of the cans. Solvents, automotive fluids, pool chemicals and propane tanks stay; the city runs a household hazardous-waste drop-off for those.
Can furniture and appliances go with the clutter?
Yes, all in one visit. Old fridges, freezers and washers stored in the garage are normal for us.
Phoenix bulk trash is by appointment now. Is that easier than calling you?
For a curbside pile of ordinary items, possibly, if one of your four yearly appointments is available soon. Haulo makes sense when the items are inside, when they include a fridge, remodel debris or concrete, or when the next appointment is weeks out.
Can I use Phoenix bulk trash instead of Haulo for garage cleanouts?
Yes, when it fits the rules: four appointments a year; out by 5:30 a.m. on the date, up to 10 cubic yards within 5 ft of the curb, and nothing on the refused list (household hazardous waste, tires, glass, appliances with refrigerant, construction material, concrete and trunks over 4 feet). If it can wait for the next appointment, which can be weeks out and you can get it to the curb, the city is the cheaper choice and we will say so. Haulo is for what does not fit: items still inside, more than up to 10 cubic yards within 5 ft of the curb, refused materials, or a date that cannot wait for the next appointment, which can be weeks out.
What does Phoenix bulk trash refuse that Haulo will take?
Phoenix refuses household hazardous waste, tires, glass, appliances with refrigerant, construction material, concrete and trunks over 4 feet. Of those, Haulo takes refrigerant appliances, construction material, concrete and trunks over 4 feet, along with whole-garage loads and oversized single items. Tires and household hazardous waste stay off our trailer too; the what-we-cannot-take guide lists where they go.
