Loose remodel and tear-out debris — lumber, drywall, flooring, cabinets, insulation, packaging — loaded from where it sits at Mesa job sites and hauled away so the trades can keep moving. Price confirmed from photos before loading.
A remodel makes a pile faster than anyone plans for. Haulo takes the loose material off your hands without a dumpster sitting in the driveway for a week: the crew loads directly from the rooms, the patio or the pile by the street, and the trailer leaves when it is full. Contractors and homeowners both use us between phases of a job.
Haulo is based in Mesa, so this is home turf: the west side around Dobson Ranch, Las Sendas and Red Mountain Ranch to the northeast, Eastmark and the 55+ communities around Leisure World and Sunland Village all get same-day service every day. No trip charge for being far away, because we are not.
Mesa construction debris removal covers Dobson Ranch, Las Sendas, Red Mountain Ranch, Alta Mesa, Eastmark, Superstition Springs, Downtown Mesa, Leisure World, Sunland Village and the Falcon Field area, plus the rest of Mesa. Not sure about your street? Text the address and we confirm.
What this service handles
Material that is already detached, demolished or torn out and ready to load.
Asbestos-containing material, lead-contaminated debris and mold-remediation waste
Paint, solvents, adhesives, fuel and other liquids
Roofing tar, contaminated soil and anything with a chemical smell you cannot identify
We assess first
Paint — we can usually take it, but send a photo of the cans first
Concrete, block, brick, pavers, tile in quantity, dirt and rock — priced by weight, not volume; see concrete, rock and dirt removal
Material still attached to the house — that is light demolition, not debris removal
What construction debris removal costs in Mesa
Haulo prices from your photos and confirms the price before anything is loaded. Typical range: $275–$500 for a remodel’s worth of loose debris; heavy material is priced by weight on top. Have a budget? Say so — we would rather work with it than lose the job. What moves the number:
Prices checked 11 Sep 2026.
How much material there is, and whether it is one load or several
How much of it is heavy: tile, concrete, plaster, dirt, rock
Whether it is piled where a trailer can back up, or spread through the house
Nails, sharp edges and awkward lengths that slow the loading
Worth knowing before you call anyone: Mesa's own Bulk Item Pick-up is on request, from $31.00 a load for city customers, and does not take appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires or single items over 60 lb (mesaaz.gov, checked 8 Sep 2026). Haulo is a private hauler, not the city program; the trade-off is cost against timing, access and what is accepted. More typical ranges are on the pricing page.
How construction debris removal works in Mesa
01
Send photos and access details
Text a wide photo of the pile (or each room), a close-up of anything heavy, and the route to where the trailer can park.
02
We confirm the scope, the price and an arrival window
We reply with the number of loads and the price. If something needs a second look — suspected asbestos, a heavy pile — we ask before the visit.
03
The crew removes the agreed items and cleans up
The crew loads the agreed material, sweeps the loading area and takes payment when the load leaves.
Loose debris goes to a licensed transfer station or construction-and-demolition facility; metal is separated for recovery where a facility accepts it, and clean concrete, block and rock can go to a recycler when one will take the load. Haulo does not publish a diversion percentage.

Construction debris removal in Mesa: the $31 Bulk Item Pick-up or Haulo?
Mesa’s program refuses appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb, so remodel debris never goes in the bulk pile. That leaves a dumpster, which sits in the driveway for a week, or Haulo, which loads the debris from where it sits and hauls it the same day, with no waiting for the next available appointment.
Haulo is in Mesa every day, with same-day service for texts before 7 p.m., every neighborhood included, with no waiting for the next available appointment.
Mesa pile limit
About 4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft per load, up to four loads per pickup.
Mesa timing
By appointment, scheduled in advance; $31.00 per load.
Not accepted by Mesa
Appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb.
Figures (by appointment, scheduled in advance; $31.00 per load) as published on 8 Sep 2026; the six-city comparison is in the bulk trash guide, and everything Haulo does locally is on the Mesa page.
Construction Debris Removal questions from Mesa
Is this cheaper than a dumpster?
For a one-time pile, usually: you pay for what is loaded, there is no rental period and nothing sits in the driveway. For a multi-week job that produces debris every day, a dumpster can work out better; we are happy to say so.
Do you take concrete, tile and dirt?
Yes, priced by weight rather than volume. Photograph it separately from the light debris and we price the two parts on their own terms.
Will you demo the cabinets or pull the flooring?
Not under this service — debris removal is for material that is already loose. If you need something taken apart first, that is light demolition, which we also do; say so when you send photos.
What if there might be asbestos in it?
Tell us. Older drywall joint compound, floor tile, mastic and insulation can contain asbestos, and we cannot take material that is suspected of it. Have it tested or handled by an abatement contractor first.
Can I just use Mesa's bulk item pickup instead?
Sometimes, and we will say so. The city program has to be scheduled, starts at $31.00 a load (about 4′×8′×4′), and will not take appliances, remodel debris, hazardous items or anything over 60 lb. If your pile is curbside-ready and fits those rules, it may be the cheaper route. If it is inside the house, heavy, or needs to go this week, that is us.
Can I use Mesa bulk trash instead of Haulo for construction debris removal?
Yes, when it fits the rules: by appointment, scheduled in advance; $31.00 per load, about 4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft per load, up to four loads per pickup, and nothing on the refused list (appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb). If it can wait for the next available appointment and you can get it to the curb, the city is the cheaper choice and we will say so. Haulo is for what does not fit: items still inside, more than about 4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft per load, up to four loads per pickup, refused materials, or a date that cannot wait for the next available appointment.
What does Mesa bulk trash refuse that Haulo will take?
Mesa refuses appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb. Of those, Haulo takes appliances, construction material and single items over 60 lb, along with remodel debris and oversized single items. Tires and hazardous waste stay off our trailer too; the what-we-cannot-take guide lists where they go.
