Mesa appliance service

Appliance Removal Mesa AZ

Refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers and water heaters carried out of Mesa homes, garages and rentals and hauled away. Insured crew, our own people, price confirmed from your photos before we lift anything.

A dead fridge in the garage or a washer that finally quit is heavy, awkward and too big for the bin. Haulo brings the dolly and straps, takes the appliance out through whatever door, hallway or side gate stands between it and the trailer, and hauls it away. You do not need to drag it to the curb.

Haulo is based in Mesa, so this is home turf: the west side around Dobson Ranch, Las Sendas and Red Mountain Ranch to the northeast, Eastmark and the 55+ communities around Leisure World and Sunland Village all get same-day service every day. No trip charge for being far away, because we are not.

Mesa appliance removal covers Dobson Ranch, Las Sendas, Red Mountain Ranch, Alta Mesa, Eastmark, Superstition Springs, Downtown Mesa, Leisure World, Sunland Village and the Falcon Field area, plus the rest of Mesa. Not sure about your street? Text the address and we confirm.

What we cannot take, and what we assess first

The short version for Mesa; the full policy is on the regional appliance removal page.

We cannot take

  • Solvents, thinners, stains and other flammable liquids
  • Gasoline, motor oil, antifreeze and other automotive fluids
  • Propane tanks and other gas cylinders

We assess first

  • Paint — we can usually take it, but send a photo of the cans first
  • Hardwired, gas-connected or plumbed units — tell us whether the connection has already been shut off and disconnected
  • Built-in units still fastened into cabinetry
  • Commercial refrigeration and large walk-in components

What appliance removal costs in Mesa

Haulo prices from your photos and confirms the price before anything is loaded. Typical range: $125–$225 for one or two appliances; a single unit is often at the minimum of $99. Have a budget? Say so — we would rather work with it than lose the job. What moves the number:

Prices checked 11 Sep 2026.

  • How many appliances are going, and their size
  • Stairs, elevators, tight turns and long carries to the trailer
  • Whether a unit is still connected and needs to wait on a disconnection
  • Built-in or fastened units that take extra time to free

Worth knowing before you call anyone: Mesa's own Bulk Item Pick-up is on request, from $31.00 a load for city customers, and does not take appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires or single items over 60 lb (mesaaz.gov, checked 8 Sep 2026). Haulo is a private hauler, not the city program; the trade-off is cost against timing, access and what is accepted. More typical ranges are on the pricing page.

How appliance removal works in Mesa

  1. 01

    Send photos and access details

Text a photo of each appliance and the path to where a truck can park, and say whether it is still connected.

  2. 02

We confirm the scope, the price and an arrival window

We reply with a price and a same-day or next-available window. If a gas or water line still needs disconnecting, we tell you before the visit.

  3. 03

The crew removes the agreed items and cleans up

The crew carries the unit out, loads it, sweeps up from under it and takes payment when the job is done.

What happens to the items

Appliances go to a scrap recycler for metal recovery, with refrigerant-bearing units handled so the refrigerant is recovered properly. A working unit in good condition goes to a donation drop-off on the route — Habitat for Humanity ReStore or St. Vincent de Paul, whichever is accepting that day — when it will be taken; that depends on the unit, so it is not something we promise. Haulo does not publish a diversion percentage.

Appliance removal in Mesa: the $31 Bulk Item Pick-up or Haulo?

Mesa’s program does not take appliances at all, so a dead washer, dryer, refrigerator or water heater in Mesa is always a private-hauler job. Haulo picks it up from wherever it sits, laundry room or garage, and hauls it the same day rather than waiting for the next available appointment.

Haulo is in Mesa every day, with same-day service for texts before 7 p.m., every neighborhood included, with no waiting for the next available appointment.

Mesa pile limit

Appliance Removal questions from Mesa

Do I need to disconnect the appliance first?
Electric units that simply plug in: no, we unplug them. Gas, hardwired or plumbed units (ranges, dryers, dishwashers, water heaters) should be shut off and disconnected before we arrive, by you or a qualified tradesperson. Tell us the status when you send the photo.
Can you get a fridge down the stairs or out of an apartment?
Yes. Stairs, elevators and narrow halls are normal for us; a photo of the stairwell or the tightest doorway lets us plan the carry and price it correctly.
Do you take a fridge that still has refrigerant in it?
Yes. Refrigerant-bearing appliances go to a facility that recovers the refrigerant properly. You do not need to have it evacuated first.
Can you take other things in the same trip?
Please do. Furniture, boxes, yard debris or a garage corner can go on the same load, and it is usually the cheapest way to get everything gone at once.
Can I just use Mesa's bulk item pickup instead?
Sometimes, and we will say so. The city program has to be scheduled, starts at $31.00 a load (about 4′×8′×4′), and will not take appliances, remodel debris, hazardous items or anything over 60 lb. If your pile is curbside-ready and fits those rules, it may be the cheaper route. If it is inside the house, heavy, or needs to go this week, that is us.
Can I use Mesa bulk trash instead of Haulo for appliance removal?
Yes, when it fits the rules: by appointment, scheduled in advance; $31.00 per load, about 4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft per load, up to four loads per pickup, and nothing on the refused list (appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb). If it can wait for the next available appointment and you can get it to the curb, the city is the cheaper choice and we will say so. Haulo is for what does not fit: items still inside, more than about 4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft per load, up to four loads per pickup, refused materials, or a date that cannot wait for the next available appointment.
What does Mesa bulk trash refuse that Haulo will take?
Mesa refuses appliances, construction material, hazardous waste, tires, and single items over 60 lb. Of those, Haulo takes appliances, construction material and single items over 60 lb, along with appliances of every kind and oversized single items. Tires and hazardous waste stay off our trailer too; the what-we-cannot-take guide lists where they go.
